Practical Planning Support for Stronger Communities

Handbook of Your Life can provide practical, approachable sessions that help community members think about the information their loved ones may need if life suddenly changes.

The focus is not on fear or legal jargon. It is on helping people make a start with the household, family and personal information that is often scattered across drawers, phones, folders and in people’s minds.

Handbook Options for Your Members

Handbook of Your Life understands that one size does not fit all. As such, a range of handbook kits are available to suit whatever stage in life you are at including Singles, Couples, Couples with Children, Single Parents,or Carers.

For those wanting to simply get their affairs organised in case the unexpected happens, like injury, illness or incapacitation, we have also created a Health Event Kit for such preparedness.

No training is required. The Handbook is a complete, self-contained family organisation and end-of-life planning system.

Families work through their Handbook independently using the Welcome Pack, Customer Resources Portal and support resources — while you continue providing the professional care, education, guidance and encouragement they already value from you.

Ways We Can Work Together

Every organisation supports families differently. Choose the option that best suits your clients, group or program:

  • Host a Practical Planning Talk

Invite Handbook of Your Life to deliver a short, approachable session for your members. The talk focuses on the practical information people should have organised — from household and family details to important documents, emergency contacts and end-of-life planning — without making it feel overwhelming or morbid.

  • Share a Useful Community Resource

Include Handbook of Your Life in your newsletter, member communications, welcome packs or local resource lists for people who would benefit from getting their personal and practical affairs organised.

  • Run a Group Discussion or Workshop

Create space for a practical conversation around getting organised for life’s unexpected moments. Sessions can be tailored to suit your group, whether the focus is families, carers, older members, local residents or general life planning.

  • Keep Handbooks Available — Optional

Suitable for community organisations that would like to keep selected Handbook Kits available for members or visitors. Community Partners receive a 10% partner margin on kits offered at standard retail pricing.

  • Refer Members Through the Community Partners Network

Members can nominate your organisation when purchasing a Handbook, with a 10% partner referral benefit available through the network.

    Support Your Community Work

Community organisations can join the Community Partners Network and receive a 10% referral benefit when a member nominates their organisation while purchasing a Handbook.

This benefit can be put towards member activities, local initiatives, resources or other work that supports the people and community your organisation serves.
