Preparing for life’s hardest moments shouldn’t feel overwhelming. Our work is about clarity, calm and practical support — so your loved ones have direction when it matters most.

We exist to shift how people think about end-of-life planning — away from fear and avoidance and towards peace of mind, practical preparation and genuine care for the people who matter most.

End-of-life planning isn’t about dying. It’s about living well, easing future burdens, and leaving clarity for those you love.

Nat Verhoek, Founder, Handbook of Your Life

Nat Verhoek

Founder

I created Handbook of Your Life for one simple reason: my kids.

Years ago, I realised that if something happened to me, my children wouldn’t know how to navigate our everyday responsibilities — the practical things that keep a home and family running. That thought stayed with me.

I began documenting everything they would need: contacts, accounts, instructions, paperwork and the small personal details that make life ours. What started as a private project quickly became a system — practical, structured and deeply human.

The more I shared the idea, the more people told me the same thing: “I wish I had something like this when my loved one died.”

Handbook of Your Life grew from that gap. My mission is simple: to give every household a clear, affordable way to organise what matters most, easing the weight placed on loved ones when life changes suddenly.
