Handbook of Your Life began with a simple, personal question: if something happened to me, would my children know what to do?
I realised they wouldn’t. They wouldn’t know who to call, what bills existed, how the household ran or where the important documents were kept. I had a Will, but that was only one small piece. Everything else – the practical, everyday knowledge that keeps a family moving – existed only in my head.
That thought stayed with me.
So I started writing everything down. Contacts, accounts, instructions, routines, medical information, household details, personal notes for my kids – all of it. What began as a small project quickly became something bigger: a clear, organised system that would give my family direction and ease their burden if life ever changed suddenly.
As I shared the idea with others, one thing became very clear: I wasn’t the only one who felt this way. Most people had no idea where to begin with end-of-life planning and many carried the same fear of leaving chaos behind. Again and again I heard, “I wish I had something like this when my loved one died.”
That was the moment Handbook of Your Life became more than a private project. It became a mission.
I wanted to create something every household could use – practical, affordable and structured enough to bring calm into one of the most emotionally difficult moments a family will ever face. A handbook that didn’t feel cold or clinical, but human and reassuring. A system that worked for singles, couples, parents, carers and people navigating sudden illness or long-term conditions.
Everything inside each handbook is designed with one purpose: to make life easier for the people you love.
My approach has always been simple. Keep things easy to fill in. Keep documents offline and in your control. Protect private information through the 2DocLock™ Security System. And most of all, help families feel prepared, not overwhelmed.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. If Handbook of Your Life can bring even a little clarity or comfort to your loved ones one day, then this work has been worth every step.
