Families don’t stay the same. Your handbook shouldn’t be locked in time.

Child Add-On

You might finish your handbook with three children, then welcome another. You might become responsible for a child later through blending families, guardianship or care arrangements. Life changes. Paperwork usually doesn’t keep up.

The Child Add-On exists for that exact reason.

It allows you to add a full, dedicated section for one additional child to your existing handbook – without starting over, without redoing sections and without breaking the structure you’ve already put in place.

This isn’t a patch or an afterthought. It’s a continuation of the system — designed from day one to grow with your family.

What the Child Add-On Actually Is

The Child Add-On is a complete, standalone section for one additional child, designed to slot into your existing Handbook of Your Life without changing anything you’ve already completed.

Each add-on includes everything needed to document one child properly including :

  • a health profile

  • likes and dislikes

  • education

  • employment

  • activities/memberships

  • important documents and information

  • digital logins and more

and the supporting structure that keeps it consistent with the rest of your handbook.

Nothing is duplicated.
Nothing needs renumbering.
Nothing gets pulled apart.

You simply add the new child section to the back of your handbook, following the same system you’re already using.

Child Add-On: Table of Contents

Importantly, this is not “extra pages” or a partial insert. It follows the same logic, layout, and security approach as the original child sections — so whoever relies on your handbook later isn’t left guessing or stitching things together under pressure.

The result is simple: your handbook stays organised, readable, and complete – even as your family grows.

When You’d Use a Child Add-On

You’d add a Child Add-On when your family situation changes after your handbook is already complete.

The Child Add-On lets you:

  • Add a child to ANY handbook – with custom-built Child Add-Ons designed to cover all, real-life scenarios.

  • Add one child without rebuilding your handbook

  • Keep all children documented using the same structure

  • Avoid handwritten inserts or workarounds

  • Maintain clarity for anyone relying on your handbook later

  • Provision to the utilise 2DocLock™ Security System with each Child Add-on

Common situations include:

  • A new baby or child joins your family

  • Blended families or step-children

  • Guardianship or care arrangements change

  • You’re responsible for a child who isn’t biologically yours

In each case, the need is the same: your handbook is still valid – it just needs to extend.

Extend Any Child Section Using the Customer Resources Portal

Every Child Add-On is designed to be expandable, just like your handbook.

If you need to record information that isn’t included by default, you don’t need a new kit — you use the customer resources portal.

We offer a wide range of unlimited, free extra pages – simple browse the templates, select what you need, download, print and insert wherever best suits in your handbook or child add-on section.

EXAMPLE

You want to add information about your new child’s bank account. There isn’t specific provision for that in the Child Add-On. Instead, you go the the customer resources portal, select the provider template you like – 3 styles available – download and print it out and insert either into your main handbook under “Bank Accounts” or add it into the Child Add-on where you see fit.
